Nick, these are absolutely amazing. I am impressed! You have always been such the talented one God bless you! Karen
Hello Jonathan,
I can relate to what you are going through because I got into building because of the same reason. Chronic Pain! Since 2000 I have been suffering and I also needed something to take my mind off of all of the pain.
Getting back to your question; Yes, I build my buildings totally from scratch. No kits for me. Get yourself some blue or redish color styrofoam from Lowes or Home Depot and use that material. The rest is up to you. I do not make it a habit to show step by step procedures in scratch building, sorry. There are a lot of scratch builders on the web that can show you how. If you have talent, then scracth building will work for you. Good luck and get well.

jonathan says...Hello, my name is Jonathan Teuton and I am very insterested in constructng models that are 1:35 scale. I have cronic pains from resent operations and I think this would be a great way to focus on something positive and allow my body to heal without leaving the house. I don't have much money because all my savings go towards my medical bills and college fund, but I would love to build dioramas from scratch. I was wondering if you could instruct me on how to build such detailed buildings? Is the entire building made from scratch or is their a kit I need to buy? Thank you for your time and God bless!

Very very nice!..
I have been looking for a long time to find someone who could do a custom made WW2 diorama for me to buy..Specifically I am interested in the following:
1.A Stalingrad scene with perhaps both Soviet and German figures
2. A hedgerow scene in Normandy with perhaps a Sherman tank or a machine gun nest hidden in a hedgerow
3 A Battle of Kursk scene with perhaps a Tiger and or T-34 tank
I previously wrote Crossroad diecasts with a similar inquiry but received no response.
When in Bastogne I purchased a nice diorama made by a local Belgian..it is about 11" by !6"..Roughly that size is what I am looking for but I am open for suggestions.
Also because I have taken my family to a number of WW1 sites (Argonne, Verdun, the Marne salient.).I would also be interested down the road in a diorama depicting one of these battles
I hope to hear back from you soon!

Hello Arthur, thanks for stopping by. We plan to have ZULU dioramas completed sometime this year. I'm not sure about the Indian Mutiny or the Nile Campaign.
Regards,
Nick/Admin
I am interested in dioramas for the Zulu war, the Indian Mutiny, and the Nile Campaign.
